Idaho Shakepeare Festival

City of Good is seeking volunteers to help us provide exceptional service at Cafe Shakespeare for the full run of the Festival season! If you love local food, the best Shakespeare in town, a fast-paced volunteer experience, working in a beautiful place on a summer evening, sign up now! Every meal sold will support our other programs, delivering meals to neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

Volunteers need to be physically able to stand for long stretches of time, carry up to 20 pounds, and spend an evening outside. Volunteers also need to love customer service and a fast-paced environment. Benefits include knowing that you are supporting a sustainable food system, working in a beautiful space, and watching performances during down times at the cafe.

Job descriptions listed below are a general outline, not a definite description. All volunteers will be expected to pitch in where needed to make sure all patrons get their food and drink in a timely, friendly manner so no night will be exactly the same. That might include delivering food, labeling and packaging meals, performing inventory, and taking out the recycling.

All volunteers will receive a t-shirt to wear during their shift.
